Eight felt marker brushes I needed for a project. Nobody seems to have created any so I’m posting them here in case they may be useful to anyone else!

Were these designed for CS3? Would that explain why they don’t import into CS2? Nice, btw!

Yes they were created in CS3 but I find it odd if they can’t be imported into CS2, after all the brush format does not seem to have changed. Sorry about that, I’ll see if I can do anything to fix it.

Don’t know if I’ll need these any time in the near future, but I’m snagging em anyway. Definitely a cool thing to have. Nicely done.
Also, thanks for providing Illustrator brushes to the design community – in my opinion there are far too few out there for as handy as they are. If you weren’t already aware, youworkforthem.com has a bunch of Ill brushes that are worth taking a look at. Not free however.

These are great, did you just scan drawn out marker lines and then vectorize them? Thanks for making it easy.

Yes, I drew marker pens until I had some lines I was happy with, photographed them, turned them into vectors and then into brushes.
The surprising thing is that there aren’t a lot of brushes around to download.

Thanks for the brushes. They can come in handy. I am also a big fan of illustrator, just wish i had more time to do some more stuff.

Glad to hear these brushes are useful! I am planning to do some more Illustrator or Photoshop brushes from natural media. If anyone wants any specific brushes let me know.
