To start with, I’ve brought all the old content back into the site.

None of the file downloads work yet, and some of the posts are missing images – please bear with me while I get it sorted.

I will be posting on home-built hi-fi, music, photography, other bits and pieces, just like before!

You spammers who are visiting here to leave spam comments with links to your frankly crap sites – you can’t because I get to approve all comments before they are posted, so take your worthless little selves elsewhere.

My apologies for the lack of material recently – we are working hard to save our business from going down the pan following a being-trampled-on-by-bigger-company situation.

I have some interesting new things to write about so please be patient and expect to see something soon!

Friends, font lovers, interface lovers, old net-comrades…Smoking Drum is back! The site has been down for a couple of weeks and I am bringing it back to life.

The bits which Smoking Drum was good for (free fonts, desktops, icons) will still be here in the site, once I have added them back in.

You will notice that I have moved over to Movable Type, a blogging tool – I have chosen to do this for ease of updating the site – I am not intending to start a blog.

So, please check back over the next couple of days when I start to add the “guts” of the site – the meat and potatoes – back in.
